Your first step to getting fast internet is to find out what kind of fast internet is available to you.

1st choice:  Ask your neighbors.  Do they have cable or dsl?  Who provides it?  Very often I have researched the internet for broadband service in remote areas.  The internet searches have come back saying "Sorry, no broadband in your area."   After knocking on a few doors in the neighborhood I more often than not find someone who already has it!

Broadband technology:

DSL and Cable Broadband are the two most common and least expensive options.

Satellite broadband.  Usually more expensive, more equipment, more available.  Sometimes the only broadband option for those living in motor homes.

Ask your current ISP if they can deliver broadband to you.
